Rakkaus kohtelee Jerryä tylyllä tavalla ja mies päättää lähteä nuolemaan haavojaan trooppiselle risteilylle ystävänsä Nickin kanssa. Amorin päähän potkimat kaverukset haluavat nollata tilanteen ja kenties ajautua kiehtovan lomaromanssin pauloihin. Pahaksi onneksi heidän risteilyaluksensa on kaukana siitä perinteisestä lemmenlaivasta – kaksikko joutuu mukaan Karibianmeren homoristeilylle. Umpihetero taistelupari harkitsee jo hetken hurjaa hyppyä yli laidan, mutta sitten unelmaristeilijälle pelastetaan lautallinen Miss Bikini –kilpailun osanottajia. Jerry iskee silmänsä upeaan tanssiohjaajaan. Pahaksi onneksi tulikuuma typykkä on päättänyt luopua tykkänään rakkaudesta. Jerry piilottaa ärjyvän libidonsa luikerrellakseen neitosen suosioon... "Coach’s p****y just blew up" :-D Sometimes I feel like I'm from another world when I give 4 stars to a movie here that has a below average rating. I can't help it though, because I had a great time.

I must admit that this travesty made me laugh a couple of times, and Cuba Gooding Jr. and Horatio Sanz made a rather likable duo, but to base the whole plot on dirty talk, hot guys or shots of sexy half-naked models (which isn’t so bad for us boys) seems pretty lame and doomed to a low rating. Really, until the aforementioned models appeared on the scene, the film managed to disgust me just enough. Yet, even then it's not great, and horny Horatio and amorous Cuba Gooding do their best to entertain, and together with the likeable Roselyn Sanchez and the "charming" Roger Moore they manage to make Boat Trip a watchable and briskly paced spectacle. I wouldn't put this teen comedy in the trash, but I don't need to see it again.

I just love this comedy. It's a total nonsense, but I saw it when I was younger, probably in my teens, which was perhaps the most suitable age, and I laughed at it like a fool. It stuck in my mind, and I wanted to revisit it. Nowadays, it's clear that it's complete nonsense, but I still can't help feeling the nostalgia. Some moments are funny, and some characters are great, or at least sexy (okay, maybe just the one).
