I am not very familiar with Indian cinema, but it is clear that it is not all just Bollywood. In the past, some truly interesting films were made there. This almost neorealist film, with a pace reminiscent of Japanese style, will strike you with its almost documentary depiction of poverty and relationships in a rural family. ()
