Wojaczek

The portrait of the "poet maudit", Rafał Wojaczek, is not a typical biographical film but rather an experimental insight into the psyche of the gifted artist. Majewski focuses mainly on the last period of his life, which ended by a tragic death. Wojaczek's myth is full of scandals and stories that piece together the mosaic of his complicated personality. The lead role was portrayed by a young Polish poet, Krzysztof Siwczyk, who was nominated for the European Felix film award.
