Herra Peabody on liikemies, keksijä, tiedemies, Nobel-palkittu, gourmet-kokki, kaksinkertainen Olympiamitalisti ja nero... joka sattuu olemaan myös koira. Käyttämällä nerokkainta keksintöään WABAC-konetta, Herra Peabody ja hänen adoptiopoikansa Sherman aikamatkaavat ajassa taaksepäin historiallisiin maailmantapahtumiin ja tapaavat historian suurimpia merkkihenkilöitä. Mutta kun Sherman rikkoo aikamatkaamisen sääntöjä, nämä kaksi sankaria päätyvät elämänsä seikkailuun yrittäessään korjata historiankulun pelastaakseen tulevaisuuden. There is nothing better than a visually nice, clever animated film with a story that can be both educational and funny with its historical references.

This cartoon is on par with some others, just like Mr. Peabody is compared to some regular dogs. He is more intelligent, has a lot of ideas, he doesn't lack wit or charm, he can impress, he is actionable and touching, and he is suitable for children and adults. Hats off to its creators who have so carefully selected and blended all the ingredients mentioned above. They "made" an impeccable spectacle with everything that it encompasses.

The film is enjoyable and has well-developed characters who maintain their personalities throughout. I don't like time travel because it's used too often and excessively, but in this execution, surprisingly, it turned out tolerable and quite functional for the plot, mainly because the science behind it wasn't explored in great depth. I think this animated film is bearable even for adults. It's a contemporary family classic, with something for everyone.

Finally an animated movie which has awesome lines, is fun, smart, and not only for the little ones, but adults, too. The feeling might fade away over time. But for now, I liked this more than anything of late, and yes, it’s slightly better than The Lego Movie. PS: Bill Clinton’s best cameo ever.
