Werewolf: The Beast Among Us is a film that doesn't impress and most of the time probably doesn't offend. It's nothing groundbreaking, but if I compare it to the 2009 Werewolf, I don't see that much of a difference. Yes, the bigger budget allowed for better actors, but story-wise it was very bad. I quite enjoyed this film within its limits, and as a fair critic, I'll give it almost an average rating.

Dumber in the script, duller in the visuals, a slightly retarded cousin of the more famous The Wolfman, but it offers a few decent scares, lots of dismembered bodies and a bizarre denouement. Within its genre, it's a below-average piece of work that you probably won't remember tomorrow. P.S. I don't think I've ever seen an invalid horse in a movie before.
