A well-executed French drama about a French teacher whose mundane life is disrupted by a 14-year-old student from a clearly troubled background, who happens to be an exceptionally compelling writer. As the story unfolds, it takes unexpected turns that keep the viewer intrigued, even if they don't always agree with the characters' actions. The film beautifully blends a classic human story with an engaging interaction between two very different individuals, leading to an intriguing, almost dreamlike finale. It’s the kind of movie that stays with you, making you ponder its themes long after it ends. That’s exactly what I love in a film.
