The Taking is simply the type of movie I don't like and don't want to watch. I don't like movies that lack plot and rely solely on projecting images into the human eyes, attempting to convey anything through them. For me, this is just not enough, and the film is not surprising in any way. It's not powerful enough, and there's nothing in it that can engage me. Perhaps only the effort that someone tried.
