A rather unusual film about a woman who wants to get married at any cost and yet does everything she can to discourage potential grooms as much as possible. I have to admit I was quite nervous if any suitor would dare to stick his head in the noose. (70%)

Israel often feels like a world apart to me — everything from the way people act to the way they think. In Through the Wall, we follow a not-so-attractive Israeli woman who decides she's going to get married, even if her groom bails on her. After all, she's got the venue nearly booked and the dress almost ready, so why call it off? Her big, lively family is probably already gearing up for the celebration, ready to dance the night away to some Israeli psy-trance.
