In 1958, shortly before the communist revolution, a tourist film was made to promote Cuba. In 2014 the filmmakers revisited the same locations. The comparison between past and present through identical camera angles continues on the soundtrack, evoking a country twice in a state of transition. (International Film Festival Rotterdam)
