Oscar-winner Nicolas Cage is back to fight the supernatural as Joe, a man obsessed by the death of his wife and daughter. Between Worlds feels totally interchangeable with any (below) average episode from a television horror series from the 1990s, both technically and in terms of the story. In fact, from the beginning, you wonder if the movie is so terrible and outdated on purpose, or if it is some kind of subversive ironic joke. I am convinced that it is the former, and the movie is simply terrible, fortunately, Nicolas Cage saves the day with his frenzied deranged performance and hilarious one liners, which makes what would have otherwise been an atrociously boring movie an unforgettable affair that can actually be enjoyed.
