Criminal: Deutschland (2019)

englanti The Germans have once again shown their prowess, delivering precise work in every aspect and leading slightly in the mini-battle with Great Britain. Sylvester Groth was especially strong in the investigative role; I have to admit, he is an exceptionally talented actor. The cases were diverse, not only in what happened but also in the interestingly presented dialogues of the investigators behind the scenes, and the various interrogation styles were also quite compelling. The ending was pretty intense, if I understood it correctly. I’m giving it 82%. ()

englanti The German approach to the unconventional detective story from the investigation room caught my attention in the first episode, and it's especially worth highlighting Sylvester Groth's performance as the detective. Once again, the series relies on precise dialogues that play with the imagination of each viewer, who has no clue about what will happen in the following minutes. And the ending in this regard is absolutely exquisite—I would never have guessed it. A real treat in every way. Keep it up. I give it 85%. ()

englanti Of the entire German trilogy, this is probably the weakest episode. The main positive highlight here is not the suspect, but the excellent performance of his lawyer, played by Christian Berkel. The case itself might not be very gripping, but it is still solid craftsmanship from the Germans. I give it 66%. ()

Claudia (2019) (E03)

englanti The first episode where I’m giving the highest possible rating. Nina Hoss’s performance was exceptional; she fully embraced her role, and her character commanded immense respect. Sylvester Groth delivered another charismatic performance, and the case itself was intriguing. The surprising action twist at the end was a great game-changer. It was a superb conclusion to this three-part series. 90%. ()
