Until the Truth

Thirty years ago, Patrice was in love with a beautiful young woman who was mysteriously found dead near her home. She was the daughter of an exiled diplomat who had become an abusive drunk. The police closed the case labeling it a suicide. A chance meeting with the investigating police lieutenant, now the Commissioner of Police, brings back painful memories for Patrice who believes the death was a murder that was not properly investigated because of the political status of the suspected perpetrator. Carried by love and thirst for justice, Patrice demands that the Commissioner reveal the truth and correct the record. (Pan African Film Festival)
