englanti It's no surprise that Scandinavia, in this case Denmark, tackled this topic. Their parent-child relationships are well-known and often debated in Central Europe. The subject is relevant, and it was fascinating to see how the filmmakers approached it. The emotional journey was intense, with ups and downs like a rollercoaster. The depiction of child removal felt very authentic to Scandinavian practices. In the end, they navigated it well, avoiding potential pitfalls and steering the story to the best possible outcome. Overall, it's a well-handled and thought-provoking film, another intriguing project from the northern film masters. ()

englanti The Cry Wolf series raises a very difficult topic that affects far more people than the general public would ever acknowledge. It is slowly becoming commonplace for couples living together to share care for children who do not have the same father, something which inevitably causes many complications in the relationships between the individual members of the household. The psychological or physical pressure that often occurs as a result, probably needs no mention. The problem is, among other things, that very few people are able to confide to their friends and family about things like that, let alone to social workers or the police... The Nordic filmmakers certainly have my infinite admiration for their craft-perfect and unusually thorough treatment of this painful subject. (95%) ()
