englanti A mediocre crime B-movie, something between a Besson flick (à la Taxi or Transporter) and a Bond movie and adrenaline-packed crime thrillers by Cavayé. In comparison with Besson, however, it lacks a greater inclination to the desired degradation and more frequent action. As for the second mentioned, it has a frantic adrenaline-fuelled pace that leaves no room for engaging your brain and the resolution of lapses in logic. After all, for this kind of nonsense, it's taken very seriously and it can be really boring at some moments. At the same time, however, there's a professional stunt her and there(especially the escape from the police station is amazing) and a few solid crashes with sheet metal bending, so you can definitely watch it without much harm. englanti I don't even know why I put Lost Bullet off, it's a good action piece from the French School. The film has a frantic pace about a mechanic wrongly accused of murdering a police officer and must do everything he can to clear his name. Corruption amongst cops, solid action (the escape from the police station is perfect) and the car chase is great. Plus Stefi Celma is really hot. I had more than a decent time. A fine affair. Story***, Action****, Humor>No, Violence***, Entertainment****, Music***, Visual****, Atmosphere****, Suspense****. 7.5/10. ()

englanti The swan song of the extremely angular Renault 21 Turbo. The screenplay is naive and simple and basically it serves just as the driving force behind the dynamic action. The crashes are super, fights numerous. A slightly above-average French action snack. ()

englanti Well, it’s a Jason Statham-style French movie that you probably won’t watch more than once, but for that one viewing, it’s a perfect action-packed escape full of car chases. The premise of the film couldn’t be simpler, and that’s really not the point here, though I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t surprised by one twist that I didn’t see coming at all. As mentioned, the film relies on adrenaline-pumping scenes where something is always happening on-screen, so you won’t get bored. Among the most enjoyable moments is definitely the fight at the police station; the French know how to film hand-to-hand combat scenes, I can’t deny that—where else can you see someone get hit in the head with a laptop or a shield? :D Of course, it’s all about the cars. I’d be disappointed if the film got low ratings just because it features mostly older cars being demolished. You know, they saved money on the budget this way, and it would look the same if they smashed an old Renault or a new Lamborghini. As I said, I enjoyed it, and I wouldn’t mind if Netflix continued to work closely with France; I’d always welcome such action-packed movies with open arms. I give it three and a half stars. 70% ()
